(Finally) Topless Topics Newsletter #9 – New Year, New Passions! Let’s Rock!

 

BUT, it’s now 2019, and I’m doing my best to make the most out of my time, as I hope you’re able to do as well! After all, the internet is full of other vloggers who have more responsibilities than I do and they somehow are able to do all of it, right?

I’ve also started reposting all of my old videos, that were originally posted to the Topless Topics Youtube channel that I started out on, back before they started to ban all my stuff. Some of these videos are more than half a decade old by now, and it’s fun to see how much the channel has evolved! (Though of course there’s loads more I still want to improve). Another one of my (evergreen) resolutions is to be a more prolific creator, and since organizing parody skits, music videos, etc. is beyond my budget and time constraints at the moment, and I’m sure you’re already sick of my “omg I’m so tired all the time” personal vlogs, that means I’m gonna focus on more on videos like: specific topic-focused vlogs (influenced both by what’s currently relevant and/or what I have strong opinions about! Feel free to suggest topics as well, best way is through the website: https://www.toplesstopics.org/contact/suggestions/ ). I also intend to start doing a lot more “Product/Media Reviews,” honest, unpaid, critical-when-necessary reviews of media I’ve consumed and products I’ve used that I want to tell others about. This can mean stuff I use every day and find to be extremely useful, to games/movies I’ve played/watched recently and feel they’re interesting enough to talk about, to cell phone apps that have revolutionized how I organize/study/etc, or even products that are just so horrible that I want to make sure no one else makes the mistake of also buying them! I’ve got a little list going already of various products/media/apps/etc that I want to review in the near future, and I’m willing to add lots more to that list! (Only if I’m actually interested in the subject matter, though. I’m not about to “review” a SHOWER CURTAIN, even “for the exposure”)

 

Do you own, represent, or simply know of a product (physical object, app, etc) or media (movie, game, TV show, etc) that you want Topless Topics to review? Do you understand that, even if you offer payment to incentivize me to review your product, I’m NOT gonna say “it’s great!” if I actually think it’s horrible? Then please use this brand-new form to suggest your product, media, etc. and if I’m interested, I’ll email you back! As with all things, I can’t promise any sort of immediate turnaround as my home life responsibilities come first, but if you have an indie game you want reviews of, or maybe a new cell app or children’s book or whatever, then please! Submit away! You can also submit something you’re not the owner/representative of, you just want an honest review from me, and it’ll be added to the list for consideration! (But if you’re a hardcore stan for something, don’t hate me if I don’t feel the same way and I take a verbal dump on your favorite thing XD)

 

It’s no secret that I’m always on the hunt for new people to interview on the channel–everyone from advocates for topfreedom, nudism, lgbtq equality, racial equality, and many other progressive ideals, to artists, musicians, and other creative types who want to share their passions and tips for how to do what you love, to regular fans of Topless Topics who aren’t affiliated with any particular organizations or occupations, but have a subject or topic you’re passionate about and you want to let the world know! Some of you reading this now are perhaps even in talks with me already to set up such an interview! The hard part of this desire is the logistics of it–finding a time that works for both of us (either online or in person), making sure you have the equipment to record on your end if we’re doing this video online, making sure we know in advance what we want to talk about, and so on. Another of my New Year’s Resolutions for Topless Topics in 2019 (https://www.toplesstopics.org/resolutions/) is to try (once again, lol) to figure out how I can put together a user-friendly, fun, active community forum (or something similar) so that we can all communicate together, work on community projects together, make some topless equality allies and even friends, etc. Previous attempts at putting together such a forum have stumbled namely due to two things–requiring too much coding/work on my part to put together in the first place (there are free options yes, but even those require a certain amount of researching to figure out how to set up subforums etc. Most free options would also qualify any Topfree Equality links as “porn” and thus shut the forum down), and/or requiring too much time to approve forum registrations/monitoring spam and trolls/creating posts for every new video/etc. However, I still think that a vital part of promotion actual, progressive change on the topfreedom front requires communication between supporters, and I remain hopeful that I can figure out how to put together a forum, chatroom, or whatever to help us reach that state. SO, I don’t have a revamped forum up YET, but I will definitely include a link in the next newsletter once I do! Whew, that was quite a long email, I’m sure! Sorry if I crit your HP with that Wall-of-Text, but it’s been a while and I want to make sure you guys have some idea of the various projects I have in the works! (And don’t worry, there’s plenty else going on that I haven’t even mentioned yet, hence why I’m constantly so busy and worn out, lulz)! Of course, participation in any of the above is totally voluntary, and I won’t think any less of you if you just wanna watch the videos and not take part in all the other stuff! The biggest help you can be to further the Topless Topics goal of topfree equality is to “like” and share the videos wide and far to those you think might be receptive to the message (keeping in mind that linking to my non-censored videos on pretty much any type of popular social media will get you banned for “porn” e.e), and if you want to help me with the financial part of creating content (namely hosting costs, better recording equipment, supplies for handmade store products, etc) you may be interested in signing up to be a Patreon donor and/or purchase digital prints and (soon) branded and/or handmade Topless Topics merch at the store. But if you can’t afford to/don’t want to, no pressure! I love all my supporters equally XD (except the ones who just follow me to insult me/demand porn. Y’all can sit on pineapples as far as I’m concerned).
