New Social Media Experiment! #NormalizeNudityDay
(formerly #NudistDay, but there are already too many pornbots ruining that hashtag)Let’s Spread Awareness About Nudism Through Weekly Nudist Posts!
The premise of this social media campaign is simple–every Sunday, post a photo of yourself doing a common, everyday, nonsexual activity while naked and include the tag #NormalizeNudityDay so others can find your post, to show the world that it IS possible to be naked while not engaging in actual pornographic activity (aka #NudityIsNotSex)!
(Which should be obvious, but considering that every single social media platform bans all genitals and female nipples specifically as “sexually gratifying,” means there’s lots of work to be done…)
New #NudistDay posts in reverse chronological order!
Please help this #socialmedia campaign gain traction by liking/sharing/retweeting each post, and/or post your own #NormalizeNudism #NudistDay photos! (then DM me @Toplesstopics on twitter or instagram if you’d like me to embed your post below!)

Inspired by this twitter conversation, I thought maybe we could try a new community effort to spread the word about what nudism/naturism really is by showing the “textile” world what it’s like to be doing everyday things without clothes on, so (as I so often say in my videos) their only experience with nudity isn’t ALWAYS AND ONLY linked to actual sexual acts.
Taking part is simple:
- Take or have someone take a picture of yourself doing everyday things (cooking, cleaning, playing video or board games, whatever) in the nude
- Every Sunday, post that picture to the social media of your choice (you will have to blur out your genitals and “female-looking nipples” if you have them or you’ll be banned on Facebook, Instagram, Tumblr, and pretty much every other website, but Twitter allows nudity as long as it’s not in your profile picture (supposedly)
- IMPORTANT: Include in the description the tag #NormalizeNudityDay (formerly #nudistday) ! This is the only way we can try to get our posts linked enough to push them into something like Twitter’s “trending topics” pages, which is the only way we can reach new people who aren’t already searching for nudist content! (Which generally means either they’re already a nudist themselves, or they’re a pervert looking for naked bodies to masturbate to)
This is a new community effort that we’re working out the kinks for, so the suggested tag may change in the future. But as long as you include the main one (currently #NudistDay) you will be helping drive our posts to the eyeballs of those who need more education on what nudism really is!
Some other tags suggested that you might want to include in your post along with #NudistDay:
- #NakedIsNormal
- #NormalizingNaturism
- #NudeDay
- #topfreeDay
- all the usual #nudist #naturist etc type tags!
The above pictures are my first submission to this project, posted to social media on Sunday, May 17 2020. Some other posts other nudists have made that day:

Posting for #nudistday (just a few minutes late!)… I want #NormalizingNaturism to be the way we all see nude bodies. And my sweet beagle Pearl agrees! (Well, she doesn’t care whether I’m nude or not and isn’t that the point?) pic.twitter.com/93eQV9mzKX

For the millionth time, I’m attempting to learn to play piano.
Maybe I’ll stick with it more than a few weeks this time since I have a little motivation in wanting to make some new music.
