If it seems like I go on a lot of these hiatuses after having videos/accounts/etc banned, it’s because I do. It’s exhausting work to put so much goddamn time and effort into these videos and social media posts only to have them banned to oblivion at the click of an algorithmic button.
you don’t know what fear is until you’re a content creator forced to play by the whims of a soulless website that can wipe you out in an INSTANT with the click of a button and there’s absolutely nothing you can do about it.

Update: It looks like the impossible happened and…Youtube…somehow reinstated my banned video? But with no email or any kind of alert about it, so it could be a total fluke? Nonetheless the point remains that this was an excellent reminder in how powerless we actually are against the social media monoliths, so I’m still going on hiatus for an indeterminate length. (I’m also still banned on Facebook. For TALKING about #freethenipple!!).
There’s a more lengthy statement about it here, if you don’t want to listen to the video: http://www.toplesstopics.org/a-sad-a…
Like I said, I don’t expect to log in to Youtube or Facebook etc. any time soon to check comments, so if you have something you really want to tell me, use the contact page on toplesstopics.org and I’ll get to it when I feel like it. But don’t hold your breath. I’m tired, this fight is long and seemingly without progress.
In the meantime, plenty of my videos still up at vimeo.com/toplesstopics, and as I’m always pleading, the most helpful thing you can do is MAKE YOUR OWN TOPLESS EQUALITY CONTENT. Even if you’re a cis white male. Putting yourself out there so others think about and can be inspired by you is the only way we can make a difference! Or, if you’re unwilling/unable to do that, at least share my content and talk about it with friends and family. Just be aware that social media will likely ban you if you do.
